Sanfu New Materials Surface Engineering and Technology Research Institute (in short referred to as ‘Sanfu Research Institute’) is a newly established research institution by Guangzhou Sanfu New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (in short referred to as ‘Sanfu NewTech’) to implement its innovation-driven strategy. The institute is located in the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, including its expert committee, a comprehensive office, a pre-treatment laboratory, a PCB laboratory, a new energy laboratory, and other development laboratories, as well as an analytical testing laboratory.
Sanfu Research Institute undertakes the core tasks in developing its R&D products; provides talents for Sanfu NewTech with the purpose of carrying out basic and core technology R&D, common and key technical applications, achievement transformation, and talent training in the field of surface finishing; implements its R&D system of its innovation and development strategy; and serves as the core driving hub for Sanfu NewTech to build an innovative talent team and actively strive for its customer satisfaction.
Sanfu Research Institute will consolidate the core strength and capability in its industry, drive the innovation of Sanfu NewTech, and promote continuous improvement on industry R&D.
To build a research base with internationally recognized advanced technology in the field of surface finishing and become a leading and driving force in its industry.
To build a core R&D system deeply rooted in Sanfu, providing strong support for the development of Sanfu's products and technologies;
To establish specialized R&D laboratories that interact with the company's various business units, focusing on market demands for products and technologies, accelerating product and technology iteration and innovation to meet market needs; to accelerate the application and industrialization of new products and technologies, adding new momentum and highlights to the company's development; to appropriately strategize the development of technologies and products with significant market potential, high technical barriers, and the ability to lead the next generation of industry development, laying the foundation for the company to lead industry development and transforming the company's product technology from an industry follower to an industry leader.
To create new R&D platforms such as an enterprise academician workstation, a provincial postdoctoral research station, and a municipal new R&D institution; to strengthen in-depth cooperation with domestic universities and research institutions, jointly establishing joint R&D laboratories and talent training bases to accelerate scientific project research and talent cultivation.
To establish an international cooperation platform, using a broader perspective to expand channels for foreign cooperation and accelerate the internationalization of the company's products and technologies. For example, the recent cooperation with the German company Haas, choosing Haas's products and technologies with high positioning and strong complementarity with the company's own products and technologies, aims for a strong alliance to overcome bottlenecks in the company's development.
