General electroplating technology refers to the commonly used electroplating engineering techniques in industries such as hardware and sanitary ware. It is a process that utilizes electrolysis to deposit a layer of metal or alloy onto the surface of metal or other material workpieces, thereby preventing metal oxidation and improving wear resistance, conductivity, reflectivity, corrosion resistance, and aesthetics. General electroplating processes typically involve the use of specialized chemicals such as pretreatment chemicals and electroplating additives.
The surface treatment process for hardware and sanitary ware products generally involves steps such as pretreatment, alkaline copper plating, acid copper plating, nickel plating, and chromium plating. Each step requires the use of general electroplating chemicals. Therefore, there is a huge demand for related general electroplating chemicals in the surface treatment process of hardware and sanitary ware products.
As a crucial component of the surface treatment process, the pretreatment process removes foreign contaminants such as wax stains, oil stains, oxide films, and fingerprints from the workpiece surface through chemical or electrolytic methods like degreasing, de-oiling, descaling, film removal, and cleaning. This ensures the workpiece has a clean appearance, improves coating adhesion, and guarantees coating reliability, serving as a key guarantee for enhancing surface treatment quality.
Product Advantages
Our company's high-efficiency and environmentally friendly pretreatment specialty chemicals offer advantages such as being phosphorus-free, ammonia nitrogen-free, nitrite-free, having low COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), high treatment efficiency, good water rinsing properties, low foam generation, and usable temperatures that can be reduced to below 50°C. These benefits can improve the first-pass yield rate and single-line production capacity, reduce production costs, meet industry clean production requirements, and possess significant environmental advantages. They can also be used in complete production lines with various plating types, effectively meeting surface treatment manufacturing needs.
